The purpose is to provide education about the effects of male socialization and about the dynamics of covert male depression. This group will also provide an opportunity to process the painful effects of covert male depression in a safe and confidential setting where feelings and events can be explored.
This group is for men who are struggling with relationship issues including marital conflict and potential divorce. It will be useful for men who are already involved in their own individual or couple therapy and who need a source of support and empathy with their internalized feelings. Men who are struggling with issues around counter dependency, codependency, alcoholic family systems and emotional abandonment will find this group useful.
